Headquartered in Nugara, King Island, Cloud Juice was founded by Duncan McFie in 1997 with the idea of bringing a breath of fresh air to the world of bottled waters. Many people can’t stand the rain, but as the great Bob Marley said: “Some people feel the rain, others just get wet”. Here at Cloud Juice we couldn’t have put it better ourselves!

“I knew King Island had some of the cleanest air in the world and that the rain is formed over a vast expanse of the unspoiled Indian Ocean. I also realised there are literally thousands of mineral and spring waters, but very few bottled rainwaters. It’s the minerals in those waters which give them their taste, but I wanted to offer an alternative for those who share my passion for nature and appreciate the purity, lightness and extraordinary sensation of rainwater on the palate”.

Today’s world is consumed by processed foods and technology, but with Cloud Juice we wanted to get back to the very essence of water. Before the rain falls on land and starts its journey through layers of different minerals, we capture the water on our specially designed catchment roof. This way we ensure the water retains its pristine lightness and essential character: something we like to call its “terroir”. Cloud Juice exists to fill a gap, producing a premium gourmet product that is delicious and healthy - with everything you need and nothing you don’t. We really do believe that sometimes less is more.
